- Stop the second hand by pulling the crown out to the 2nd click (time setting position).
- Turn the crown to set the time.
- The watch will start after the crown is firmly pushed back into its normal position
- Pull the crown out to the first click (calendar setting position).
- Set the desired date by turning the crown counterclockwise.
- Set the desired day of the week by turning the crown clockwise.
- After you have set the calendar, be sure to press the crown back to its normal position

Citizen Men's BM8180-03W Eco-Drive watch, perhaps, the most under rated watch listed is a fine piece of jewelry with the right wrist band. At night I marvel at it's brightness and how easy it is to recharge under a simple lamp. Never a need to wind just let mother nature's light do the job.

I work in technology and I cannot help but compliment Citizen on how great a device they have created.
I have had this Eco-Drive watch for 4+ years now and had no problems with the watch itself at all. Has always ran, has never needed any special attention for charging. It just collects sunlight in the background and works.
In contrast, every battery operated watch I've owned has needed an unexpected battery swapout which caused a hassle to deal with.
The band is canvas and is an olive green military color. It will stain and gain odor over time. I wish I could get a replacement from Citizen in black. The width of the band is a bit non-standard but I was able to adapt a similar band with minor trimming.
If this watch broke tomorrow, I would buy another one of these in a heartbeat. A continuous 4+ years of reliable operation is outstanding and Citizen has proven that it deserves my ongoing devotion.

If you think you are going to lose a watch, but appreciate the facility a wrist watch provides, this watch is for you!
I hate having to pull out my cell phone just to figure out what time it is, and that is pretty annoying, unless you are trying to give someone a message "You are wasting my time". This has exactly what you need, good sized hands, legible numbers and date/day. The canvas strap is nice since the leather ones, to my experience, have a shorter life. Plus these look great for students...
Its an eco-drive, so battery life is much better, and its a citizen, so you can't go wrong on this one given its price.

Great watch, very durable. Strap is a little cumbersome at first. The casing is very scratch resitant.
