5.0 out of 5 stars"Great watch for the money. The gun metal band is fantastic." 2010-08-17

I'm very happy with this watch. The face is a nice, deep blue. The gun metal band and casing is a true highlight and could probably be sold as a bracelet itself. I've worn this to the beach a few times and it's running just fine. It has a nice weight to it but it's not a huge, overpowering watch like other Inviticas. One thing to note: the band is a nightmare to remove pins/links from. It almost seems like they are glued in. It was a hour and 15 minute ordeal to remove 2 links. Be ready to take it to a jeweler for sizing. For your own sanity.

I decided to write this reveiw because this watch looks almost identical to my watch, an Invicta 3915. I got it about two years ago and thought it was gorgeous. I still do. However, I took it surface swimming (it never went below 5 ft. of water) and water leaked into it. I sent it to Invicta, and they took almost 4 months to repair it, for $90. After I finally got it back, it lasted less than a month and then died. I haven't sent it back a second time and I don't know what they'll charge me to repair it this time. But I thought I'd warn potential buyers of this watch that my experience with Invicta has shown that they aren't very high quality, and don't seem to have great service either.
